Happy Wednesday!! :)
I'm here to share another layout I made with the fabulous "Sew Charming" add-on from The Paper Bakery!!
When I started this layout I knew I wanted the negative space from the hearts I punch for my "E & K" layout, from there I thought it would be fun to just frame up a few other elements around it, I also wanted to use that fabulous distressed cardstock that came in the kit.
So I put it all together and decide I need some misting, but after the misting I was not happy at all with the way it looked against the cardstock. I still loved the colors together and the idea that was in my head. So, I simply angle cut around the frames, and adhered it to this Lilly Bee text paper, and viola! I had the look I was going for!!
Now as you get to know me, and my layouts, you will see that I pretty much mist on every single one, I'm not sure why, but the layout just doesn't feel complete to me without it. So even though I had just had to rearrange my layout from a misting accident, I decided to go for it again, and use the mist that came with the add-on. Now if you look very closely at my layout, you will notice that there are both some brown splats and some blue ones. These are both from the same mist!! I had forgot to shake the mist bottle after I mixed it, so I still had lots of the blue powder not combined....but you know what, I loved the looked!
So two accidents on my part, turned into a layout that I love even more than the original I had in my mind! Never get discouraged when those little things occur, just turn them into happy accidents and create something you love from them! :)

Ideas for Scrapbookers
I had the opportunity to play along with Ideas for Scrapbookers and create a layout to go along with Heather's sketch and template #9.
Here sketch made way for lots of photos, but those of you who know me, know that I am usually a one photo scrapper, so I made the sketch work for my style! Here is the sketch that Heather designed:

So many possibilities for this sketch, which is clearly shown by the different layouts made by the contributors. Here is the layout I made to go along with the sketch, I used the Button Box Kit from Scraptastic Club, where I am guest designing this month.
Thanks so much to Heather for having me play along, and make sure you head over to the Ideas for Scrapbookers blog and see the other inspiring layouts! :)
Have a blessed day and take time to create something you love!

Sketchy Thursdays...and an announcement
One of the first challenge blogs that I found and quickly grew to love was Sketchy Thursdays. I was inspired every week by the fabulous sketches and the amazing work of the design team. I remember my excitement when I would get chosen as a Fav for the week, and how extremely shocked and honored I was when chosen to be a part of their team. Through this blog I forged friendships with wonderful ladies, that I probably would never had the opportunity to know otherwise. I am so sad to say that this will be my last layout for Sketchy Thursdays. The wonderful ladies, Diana, Heidi, and Julie have decided that its time, and while I am very saddened by their decision, I understand that the work that must go into keeping up with a blog like Sketchy Thursdays must get overwhelming at times. So I wish them the best of luck in whatever their next steps in this crafty world are, and want them to know that they can't get rid of my that easy, lol, I will continue to follow these ladies for their amazing friendship and the inspiration they always give! Make sure you head over to the blog and read the official announcement.
Here is the fabulous sketch that we are working with this week:
I hope you take time to head over to Sketchy Thursdays, and play along this week!
