Party Pooper

Happy Friday!! :) Is everyone all geared up are ready for the weekend? Anyone have any early Valentine's Day plans? We are attending a "Date Night Challenge" at our church this weekend, and I am hoping to convince the hubby to take me to see "The Vow"...it looks like a tear jerker for sure, so might have some trouble with that one. Lol!

Today I just wanted to share a layout I made with the upcoming February Add-On kit, "Grandma's Attic" from The Paper Bakery, let me just tell you, this kit is fabulous!! Lots of yummy October Afternoon, Farmhouse and Sidewalks, and all the fun little handmade and vintage goodies that Sarah finds. Its gorgeous!

This layout is deceiving, you look at the picture and all the soft colors and embellishments, and you would probably never guess that this picture only made it on to a layout because it perfectly shows the moods of my little ladies that day that their aunt got married.

My sister-in-law got married at the college that her and her fiancee met at, the hotel we stayed at wasn't very far from the auditorium, and the girls had been couped up in the room all day, so I thought we would walk over. Get them a chance to get outside some, and wear down some of that energy they had been saving all day. BIG MISTAKE! lol! I forgot to take into account the huge fountain we would have to walk past, and lets face it, what, at the time 2 and 4 year old, can resist the lure of playing in a huge ole' water fountain? Needless to say, they were not happy with me when I told them no, and even less happy when I grab the camera to snap a picture. One giving me the mad face, and the other can't even tear her eyes away from that fountain! lol. Thankfully, they quickly forgave me! :)

I am so happy with the way this layout turned out, I am actually really pleased with all of my projects from this GORGEOUS kit! I will be back to share more soon, and make sure you head over to The Paper Bakery , this kit will be revealed on the 15th, but Sarah puts together such fabulous kits, that they usually sell out immediately!

Have a great weekend, and take time to create something you love! :)
